Title: The level of physical abilities of primary school pupils with different hourly subsidy for physical education Objetives: The aim of the work is to determine whether the pupils of the Benešov Dukelská primary school show that they have a larger subsidy of physical education since the 6th grade. Using a comparison with a classic elementary school, find out how students perform in sports. Method used: To reach the goal of the thesis, we will use a comparison of two schools. ZŠ Mnichovice, which has a classic regime of physical education, and ZŠ Dukelská Benešov, which has a sports extension. We will compare the performance of students in the disciplines of Olympic multi- sport. Results: According to the comparison of the classical primary school of the Mnichovice primary school and the school with the sports extension of the Dukelská Benešov primary school, we can claim that this influence was reflected in the results. In individual groups according to sports workload, better results were repeatedly shown for pupils with a higher hourly subsidy of physical education (PE). The averages of performances in the group also showed, where the differences between pupils with a higher hourly subsidy of PE and pupils with a classic hourly subsidy were often very marked. We reached the same conclusion...
Influence of placebo effect on sports performance
Jarchovská, Alžběta ; Vilikus, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Starnovská, Tamara (referee)
Introduction: Placebo has long been a well-known concept and the placebo effect phenomenon has been studied in a number of medical fields. In addition to its effect on pain, depression and other illnesses, other attempts are increasingly being made to find a possible use of the placebo effect. The aim of the thesis was to determine whether the administration of placebo has an effect on sports performance. Methodology: The research was conducted in two phases. The first phase was the measurement of three runs of amateur crossfit athletes at a distance of 800 m. After the run, time and subjective evaluation of the perceived effort Borg scale were writen down. In the first run placebo was administered, in the second run a commercially available preworkout supplement(L-carnitine) was administered and the third run was a control run without a tablet. The measurement results were statistically processed using Student's two-sample unpaired t-test to the mean value. The second part consisted of filling in questionnaires and then processing the resulting data. Results: After evaluating the research part, we found that in our research, placebo had no effect on athletic performance. Conclusion: The placebo and placebo effects have proven effects in many industries. Further research is needed on placebo and...

ReiKi as a Legal Doping in Sports
Faltus, Jiří ; Bednář, Miloš (advisor) ; Jebavá, Jana (referee)
Title: ReiKi as a Legal Doping in Sports Problem specification: In professional sport performance is a variable, which influences almost everything. The sportsmen are aware of that and they feel under the pressure. That is why many of them use the illegal doping. But is it really the only way? We have already learned to train the corporeal part and later even the psychical part. Is not logical to pay the same attention to the spiritual part? Is it possible, that for example influence of a spiritual energy (ReiKi and familiar methods) could affect the sport performance? Objectives: To proof or disprove a hypothesis about accepting the spiritual energy and its influence on sport performance and alternatively suggest particular application of this factor in sport practice. To offer an alternative way to accomplish better performance without using unhealthy drugs to sportsmen is the general objective of this work. Methods: The work was solved in a form of studying the cases using some couples of monozygotic twins. The basic idea lay in placement one of the sibling to the program of regular ReiKi therapies. The twins did the same kind of sports, in which was observed their performance. To get more complex point of view there were placed even regular sportsmen to the research. These sportsmen went...

- 6 - Abstract Title: Comparison of performance tests results determined during kayak spiroergometry with achieved kayak paddling performance. Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine relationships between functional parameters values found during kayak spiroergometry and sport performance at 1000 meters distance, and how are these relationships going to change based on training period. Methods: To determine statistical dependence between sport performance at 1000 meters distance and choosen factors of sport performance, the correlation research was used - as a variable-dependent value the final result of sport performance at 1000 meters distance was used, as a variable-independent amounts functional parameters values found during kayak spiroergometry were used. To discover the statistical dependence methods of Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used. Results: General level of kayak-athletes from testing file indicated by functional parameters values and demonstrated by kayak spiroergometry performance depends on kayak- athlete's level of sport performance at 1000 meters distance in prepared-training period only, when importance for general condition is emphasized. We did not discover the same phenomenon based on pre-racing period testing results. Sport performance at...
